"one of the 10 best breweries in the world."
Beverage Testing Institute in 1998

Beer is a relatively simple drink. Almost all beer contains
only four ingredients, which are barley, water, hops and yeast.
The different styles of beer are produced by variations in the
four stages of the brewing process and the amount of each ingredient
used.
While beer has been made from many different grains through
the ages, barley has proven to be the world's most valued brewing
ingredient. In fact, the word beer itself probably comes from
the old Anglo-Saxon word baere, meaning barley.
